Eric needed a website that marketed his eCommerce fulfillment services to entrepreneurs & startups. He also wanted a website that would be easy enough for him to update when needed without having to always rely on someone else.
MK3Y put his vision into action to craft an easy to navigate website that put his message infront of his audience using WordPress at its core.
We sat down with Eric and did a brain-storming session to help him figure out what the vision for his website would be, and what information he wanted to present to his clients when they arrived at the site. Once we got that done, we started to design and develop the site to what it is today.
The next step:
Sometimes plans don’t always pan out. With the help of Google Analytics and plenty of testing, we’ve noticed folks who come to the website aren’t taking the action Eric wanted.
I had just finished reading the book “REWORK” by the 37Signals founders and determined that some of the problems with the current website lay in the redundancy of information being provided. Some of it is confusing. Also, it’s not 100% clear just what action the customer should be taking when the come to the website.
With these things in mind, I’ve been working on developing a new strategy and improved version 2.0 of Fulfilltopia. One that cues the visitor to get a quote from the start and explains what Fulfilltopia is simply and easily to understand the moment the user arrives at the website.
This is just a MOCK UP, not a final product. To help LEVEL things up, I’ve recommended Eric hire a COPY WRITER, which can really help improve the quality of your targeted landing page. Just to summarize, we’ve decided to ditch the sliders in favor of a simple quick explanation of the service with a large and clear call to action. If the user wants more detail they’ll find it as they scroll further down the page with additional calls to action. Or they can go further in the site for more information. Notice I’ve also narrowed the navigation as well.
